With Motor Assist® from Guardian General, it is a reality. Our 24-hour roadside assistance comes FREE as a corporate service for all qualified motor policyholders, so you are never on the road alone.

Private and Commercial Vehicles up to 3 tons MGW are eligible for Motor Assist®. Every qualified insurance vehicle is allowed a maximum of 3 callouts per calendar year.

24 Hour Toll Free Helpline
Free access to our Roadside Assistance, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Emergency Message Relay Service
Our Call Centre operator can relay messages to family, friends or anyone else you need to contact in the event of an accident or breakdown.

Emergency E999, Fire, Ambulance & Police
If required, we will contact any of the emergency services and have them on spot as soon as possible.

Free Towing Services
Removal of the damaged or disabled vehicle from the emergency / breakdown / accident scene to a place of safety. Each tow will be considered as ONE callout for the purposes of a calendar year.

Courtesy Transport Service
Our courtesy car and driver will pick you up and take you to your desired location in the event of an accident or breakdown.

Emergency Battery Booster
We will come to your location and provide a jumpstart for your battery.

Emergency Flat Tyre Assistance
We will come to your location and change your flat tyre. However, you must have a spare tyre in good condition as well as a compatible jack and spanner.

Emergency Refuel Service
We will have a supply delivered to you at your cost. If no gas is available then we will have you and your vehicle taken to a safe destination of your choice.

Emergency Locksmith Service
Should you lock your car keys in your vehicle, we will send a locksmith to your location, or if preferable, we will tow your vehicle to the vehicle dealership. Kindly note that if special equipment is required to open your vehicle then any expense incurred in this regard will be for your account.

It is the insured’s responsibility to verify at the scene of the emergency, that the service is being provided by a bona fide Guardian General Motor Assist® provider. Guardian General will not pay for services supplied by any other provider.

The company reserves the right to discontinue this service at any point without notice to the insureds.

Exclusions for Motor Assist: Special Type Vehicles and Vehicles exceeding 3 tons maximum (including load).
